L.N., a 16-year-old Spanish female, comes to the clinic accompanied by her mother, complaining of a nonproductive cough that started three weeks ago and has been worsening for the last three days. She also has had shortness of breath that started three days ago. She has a history of runny nose and congestion three weeks ago, but the congestion cleared in a week. She denies chest pain associated with SOB or cough but reports chest tightness. She is positive for secondhand smoke and cockroach exposure. She denies any treatments for the cough.
Upon physical examination, she is afebrile with tachypnea with O2 sat of 94% on room air. Bilateral wheezing was noted on auscultation with decreased air movement throughout.

Past medical history and risk factors are a history of eczema, exposure to secondhand smoke, and cockroaches in her home.
