He has a sore throat with 6-8/10 pain and significant myalgia. He denies shortness of breath, dizziness, chest pain/heaviness and palpitations. He also denies nasal congestion or postnasal drip.
Upon physical examination, he is hyperthermic at 101F oral temperature and is sinus tachycardic at 108bpm. His pharynx is erythematous and has bilateral anterior cervical adenopathy. He does not experience any difficulty swallowing and his reparations are clear and nonlabored with SpO2 at 98%. He denied nausea, vomiting or diarrhea and his abdomen is soft, nontender and normoactive in all four quadrants.
