KY is a 2-year-old female presenting with a rash that started this morning. Additional symptoms that started three days ago include a non-productive cough, runny nose, and fever as high as 103. Physical exam findings include a pink maculopapular rash on the abdomen, arms, and legs. HEENT is grossly intact, afebrile, and lung sounds clear. No changes in eating or drinking.

Immunizations are up to date; no known sick contacts.

KY is a 2yo female presenting with 3 day history of non-productive cough, runny nose, and a max fever of 103F that have all since subsided. This morning, sudden onset rash on her abdomen quickly spread to her extremities prompting this visit. All immunizations are up-to-date in this child who presents with a nonpruritic, constituent, maculopapular, blanchable rash that is pink-red in color on her anterior trunk and extremities, with no facial rash, and she appears well.
