Description

53 y/o female presents to the office today with complaints of severe, 10/10 lower back pain. Patients states that her pain began suddenly with lifting a heavy laundry basket full of wet clothes. Patient states that her pain is constant and radiates down the right leg to the foot, with associated numbness/tingling. Pain is exacerbated with bending and movement, relieved with rest. Patient has trialed Ibuprofen without relief of pain. Patient also reports a 20 lb weight loss over the last 6 months.
