Initial Post Instructions

In this unit, you are learning about anatomy and physiology of the skeletal system as well as similarities and differences between the male and female skeletal system. In your initial post, address one of the following topics:

• Describe functions of the skeletal system.
• Compare and contrast the components that make up the axial and appendicular skeleton.
• Distinguish the structural differences between the male and female skeleton.
• Discuss the various disorders of the skeletal system, their causes, symptoms, prognosis and treatment.

Follow-up Post Instructions

Response to at least one peer or the instructor. Further the dialogue by providing more information and clarification.
